Eh, so it was another not so great week. However, I'm not quite so disappointed with this one. It was less than a pound, and this included a three day weekend in it. I improved over the course of the week from the high early on, so I'm not too concerned.
Unfortunately, after a tease of spring, the icy jaws of winter clamped down again. This week, and next week, looks like it is still going to be plenty cold here in northern Illinois. Looks like walking around Woodfield Mall and availing myself of the fitness room at my apartment complex are still the best bets. I'm still set on March 15 as my first hike of the year. Hopefully it won't be too muddy, too snowy, or (worst of all) too icy.
From leisurely strolls in the local nature preserve, to treks along the Appalachian Trail, we love to take a walk in the woods. Enjoy our tales about the joys (and pains) of hiking. No longer active, but still keeping around because why not?
